SDBC is a privately-funded project developer focused on sustainable infrastructure and climate-smart development in Cameroon. We are in early stage discussions with several interested sponsors, mainly development banks. SDBC was registered in Cameroon in 2020 as a privately formed entity and the intention in the medium terms to transition to an “Etablissement Financier” (Financial Establishment) as per Cameroonian law to enable SDBC to operate as a development bank

Project-level sustainable business models: Our team understands how to develop projects that are profitable while also integrating social and communities aspects (i.e. with cooperative and community ownership models) and ensuring biodiversity and the physical environment are respected (i.e. by only developing in areas already heavily impacted, or by expanding protections in and around the project).
