SDBC Projects Overview

At SDBC, we are driving impactful projects focused on sustainable energy, reforestation, and industrial development in Cameroon. Explore our current and flagship initiatives below.

Solar Energy Projects

• Capacity: 25 MW • Location: North of Cameroon

SDBC is in the early stages of developing two solar power projects in the northern region of Cameroon. These projects aim to contribute to the country’s renewable energy capacity, reducing dependence on fossil fuels while promoting sustainability in the region.

Reforestation & Conservation Project

  • Area: 50,000 HA • Location: South of Cameroon

SDBC is leading a consortium of local and international partners on a significant reforestation and conservation initiative. This project focuses on restoring degraded lands, preserving biodiversity, and mitigating climate change effects. The project’s scale covers 50,000 hectares in southern Cameroon, making it one of the largest conservation efforts in the region.

Alumina Refinery Development

  • Location: Kribi Port Industrial Zone

SDBC’s flagship project is the development of an Alumina Refinery at the Kribi Port Industrial Zone. Initial scoping studies have been completed, and SDBC is now in discussions with various financial and technical partners to secure the necessary funding for the next stages of the project’s development.

Partnership with Innovent for Renewable Energy Projects

SDBC has entered into a strategic partnership with Innovent, a leader in the renewable energy sector. Together, we are working on developing and executing renewable energy projects across Cameroon, with Innovent providing both technical and financial support for these initiatives.
